Trump Gives Major New Boost to RFK Jr.

Former President Trump and his supporters are aggressively attempting to enhance Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s candidacy.

Trump and his associates label Kennedy as a “leftist,” but they also believe that the independent candidate could assist the former president in securing victory in a closely contested race, especially among those who are undecided between the other two options.

This plan has garnered significant attention from prominent members in both political parties, and Republicans believe it could provide an advantage to the former president in a closely contested election.

In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump openly recognized that Kennedy’s campaign serves a purpose for him.

Trump claimed that RFK Jr. was “great for MAGA … the communists will make it very hard for him to get on the Ballot.”

Political analysts anticipate a diminished voter participation in the upcoming November election due to the unpopularity of the two main candidates.

It is anticipated that certain voters would explore options other than the GOP and Democratic candidates, such as Kennedy, who is currently leading in polls among other third-party contenders.

Kennedy’s overall poll numbers have declined according to the aggregate polling conducted by Decision Desk HQ and The Hill. On April 11, his level of support was 8.1 percent, while Trump had 42.1 percent and Biden had 40.6 percent.

However, Trump seems to benefit from his participation in the contest.

On April 11, Decision Desk HQ and The Hill collected polling data that excluded Kennedy from the race. According to this data, Trump had 44.8 percent support while Biden had 44.2 percent support. This shows a narrower margin for Trump compared to the poll that included Kennedy.

It remains to be seen whether Trump’s gamble on propping up Kennedy will pay off in the upcoming general election.
