The force is with President Biden, according to Mark Hamill, the actor who paid an unexpected visit to the White House briefing room on Friday and proceeded to showered Biden with slobbering praise.
“How many of you had ‘Mark Hamill will lead the press briefing’ on your bingo cards?” Hamill said to gathered reporters.
“I just got to meet the president, and he gave me these aviator glasses,” he continued.
“I said, ‘Can I call you Joe-B-Wan Kenobi?” Hamill remark in an apparent attempt to make a joke.
“I want to say, once again, how grateful I am, and that just shows you that one person can be so influential and so positive in our lives.” Hamill continued in regards to Biden’s legislative record.
It is not the first time the 72-year-old performer has visited the White House.
“It was really amazing to me because I was invited to the Carter White House, and I came. And then I came to the Obama White House, but I never was invited into the Oval Office, and it was a large gathering.” Hamill said.
The former star wars is well known for his unhinged hatred of former President Trump which he frequently expresses on social media.
