Former President Trump is hitting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) with insults as 2024 heats up.
DeSantis is a top Republican contender and leads the field in polls where Trump’s name is removed.
Trump is still the favorite but this insult indicates that Trump sees DeSantis as a legitimate contender and possibly a threat.
Trump is reported as saying, DeSantis is an “ingrate with a “dull personality” and no realistic chance of beating him in a potential 2024 showdown”
DeSantis is has been positioning himself as well by coming out against former President Trump. DeSantis recently said on the “Ruthless” podcast, Thursday, one of his biggest regrets in office was not speaking out “much louder” in March 2020 when Trump spoke in favor of locking down the country.
This is not the first time Trump has criticized DeSantis, sources have been reported saying that Trump has done it on multiple occasions, stating DeSantis lacks charisma.
