Border Patrol Chief Blames Biden for Crisis at the Border

Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz says there is a problem at the border and it is Biden’s fault.

Ortiz is blaming Biden and his administration’s “no consequences” policy for causing the crisis at the southern border, Fox News reports.

The comments from Ortiz were made during a deposition for a case involving a lawsuit brought by Florida against the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies that deal with the border.

Ortiz, who has 31 years of law enforcement experience, also warned of chaos to come.

The chief said that he expects the crisis to get exponentially worse as a direct result of the no consequences approach of the Biden admin.

The Biden administration has been under fire as of late for its double standards involving the border.

The administration is allowing unvaccinated individuals to enter the country via the southern border but will not allow a tennis star to play a match.

When pressed by Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre raised eyebrows when she said people don’t walk across the border.

Fox reported:

“In my experience, we have seen increases when there are no consequences,” said Ortiz during the deposition.

“So, if migrant populations believe that they’re going … there are not going to be consequences, more of them will come to the border. Is that what you’re saying?” questioned the attorney.

Ortiz responded: “There is an assumption that if migrant populations are told that there is a potential that they may be released, that, yes, you can see increases.”

“So, it will increase at an exponential rate. Is that what is being suggested here?” continued the attorney.

Ortiz then answered “yes” to the question, “Since President Biden was elected, does this document indicate that aliens illegally entering the United States perceive that they will be able to enter and remain in the United States?”

The lawsuit from Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody alleges the federal agencies at Biden’s direction are not following federal law, specifically the Immigration and Nationality Act, which requires federal officials to detail illegal aliens at the border until they are sent back to their country of origin.
