Nancy Pelosi is already eyeing her next job should the Republicans gain control of the House following the midterm elections in November.
Pelosi wants to be the next Ambassador to Italy, a post President Joe Biden has not nominated anyone for since taking office in 2021, Fox Business reports.
Republicans are expected to win the House in November and Pelosi is already looking for what she will do next.
Sources have told Fox that Biden is in fact holding the ambassadorship for the Speaker.
Should the Republicans retake the Senate as well, the GOP would control whether Pelosi is confirmed to the post or not.
According to the report, the Ambassador’s Residence in Rome, Italy has a pool, private gardens, and a three story wine cellar.
