Rep. James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky and the current chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, has reportedly now asked for a transcribed interview with Rob Walker, an associate of the Biden family company.
A report that was distributed by the Oversight Committee on Thursday revealed that members of the Biden family had received payments totaling more than $1.3 million from accounts that were connected to Rob Walker.
“The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating President Biden’s involvement in his family’s business practices. The Committee has identified you as a critical witness in this matter and has reviewed evidence showing you received millions of dollars originating from a Chinese energy company and elsewhere. The Committee invites you to participate in a transcribed interview with Committee staff,” the letter instructed.
According to the committee’s investigation, bank documents that were subpoenaed reveal that at least three members of the Biden family, including Hallie, James, and Hunter Biden, received money from Robinson Walker LLC.
After receiving a wire transfer of $3 million from a Chinese energy business, Walker was then given the payments.
“Rob Walker is a key witness in our investigation of President Biden’s involvement in his family’s business schemes. After receiving a $3 million dollar payout from a Chinese energy company two months after then Vice President Biden left office, Rob Walker then sent over a million dollars in incremental payments to Biden family accounts and a similar amount to another Biden family associate,” Comer said.
