Fox News personnel are reportedly free to dress according to their desired gender and use toilets that reflect their gender identification rather than their biological sex.
In the workplace, they must be addressed using their preferred name and pronouns.
These are reportedly only a handful of the regulations included in the corporate handbook,.
Fox also further offers to assist staff members in creating a “Workplace Transition Plan” to facilitate them if they choose to change genders in the workplace.
“Employees who are transitioning their gender have the right to be open about their transition if they so choose, and to work in an environment free of harassment, discrimination, or retaliation, and without fear of consequences or transphobia for living openly,” the policy states.
The discoveries come in the midst of conservative outrage over Fox Digital’s use of activist terminology like “gender affirming care” in stories on its website.
Fox also received harsh criticism over an on-air piece from June 2022 that praised a child’s gender transformation as “inspiration to others.”
That episode highlighted the activist argument that a youngster would commit suicide if he or she is not allowed to transition and briefly featured California state senator Scott Weiner, a far-left Democrat who spearheaded the movement to loosen the sex offenders registry restrictions for sodomy with children.
When Tucker Carlson, a co-founder of the Daily Caller, left Fox News in April, a lot of conservative fans canceled their subscriptions.
Days after giving a widely shared address at The Heritage Foundation’s 50th anniversary banquet, Carlson’s show was canceled on April 24.
After Carlson’s show was canceled in April, a source who is still employed by Fox News claimed in a statement to The Daily Signal that producers for the new 8 p.m. “Fox News Tonight” program were instructed not to criticize transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
“Fox News devotes hours of programming to attacking ‘woke companies,’ but ironically Fox is as woke as the rest of them,” another employee reportedly remarked.
