Following Jake Tapper’s recent criticism of Sean Hannity, the Fox News anchor responded harshly to the CNN host.
After Hannity slammed President Joe Biden’s State of the Union speech from the night before, Tapper addressed his critique on Friday, in the process hitting the Fox host with a verbal jab.
The Fox News personality, who says Biden’s mental faculties are deteriorating on a regular basis, claimed the president seemed too pumped up while speaking.
“Tonight, America saw, let’s say, a very different Joe Biden. I might call him Jacked-Up Joe. And that’s being charitable. He sounded like a hyper-caffeinated, angry, old man.” Hannity said.
Tapper then proceeded to call Hannity a “unofficial Trump adviser” during a segment on his remarks.
At the conclusion of Monday’s Hannity, the Fox host discussed Tapper’s digs.
“I was supposed to have a message for Fake Jake Tapper. But after my team did a little investigating, this guy barely like, gets over 500,000 viewers a day or night or whenever he’s on.” Hannity said.
“I’d say if you want me to respond, Fake Jake, you need at least a million, million and a half viewers before you get my attention. I addressed it earlier today. Jake, you’re a liberal talkshow host pretending to be a journalist. That’s why the name Fake Jake is perfect for you.” he continued.
“Choose your lane, Jake.” he concluded.
