Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office reportedly dropped the majority of the criminal charges sought against pro-Hamas militants who invaded Columbia University earlier this year.
Bragg, who prosecuted former President Donald Trump in a highly controversial case because he stated that no one is above the law, dismissed trespassing charges against 31 of the 46 defendants.
His administration argued there was insufficient evidence to link the suspects to the seizure of the Ivy League school’s Hamilton Hall, which received extensive national media coverage.
Police sources slammed Bragg, who is funded by Democrat megadonor George Soros, calling the decision to drop the charges ridiculous.
