Head of Heritage Foundation Predicts ‘Second American Revolution’

The head of the right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation reportedly claimed that the Supreme Court’s decision upholding presidential immunity will strengthen a “second American Revolution,” which, if the left lets it happen, would “remain bloodless.”

President of the Heritage Foundation Kevin Roberts discussed how conservatives should be encouraged by the Supreme Court’s decision on immunity, which essentially protects former presidents from criminal prosecution for their acts while in office, on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” program.

“In spite of all this nonsense from the left, we are going to win. We’re in the process of taking this country back. No one in the audience should be despairing. And in spite of all of the injustice, which, of course, friends and audience of this show, of our friend Steve know, we are going to prevail.” Roberts said.

“We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be,” he added.

The driving force behind Project 2025, a conservative plan for a potential Trump reelection in November, is Robert’s Heritage Foundation.

Project 2025, according to its authors, is a blueprint for what the next president should undertake to repair the damage that liberal Democrats have done to America.

The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 on Monday, along ideological lines and holding that presidents are “at least presumptively immune” for all other official acts and have complete immunity for conduct that are within the purview of their office.

Republicans hailed the ruling as a victory for Trump, who faces special counsel Jack Smith’s federal criminal election subversion case.

The ruling will likely postpone the trial and send the matter back to a lower court to determine if Trump’s actions on January 6, 2021, are exempt from criminal prosecution because they were made while he was president.
