Lawsuit Brought Against Fox by Nina Jankowicz Dismissed by Judge

Nina Jankowicz, the former chief of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) disinformation board, reportedly filed a lawsuit against Fox News, which was dismissed by a judge in Delaware.

Fox’s motion to dismiss the case was granted by the judge on Monday, according to court documents.

The judge determined that the statements Jankowicz had claimed were defamatory were either materially true or they were about the board she supervised, rather than her.

Jankowicz’s lawsuit alleged that Fox claimed she intended to censor Americans’ speech and that she wanted to grant verified Twitter users, including herself, the ability to edit others’ messages.

In 2022, Jankowicz, a prominent far-left “disinformation researcher” and writer, resigned shortly after assuming the position following a backlash that prompted the Department of Homeland Security to “pause” the board’s work.
