Fox Host Lawrence Jones Warns Republicans of Danger of ‘Unnecessary Attacks’ On Kamala

Lawrence Jones, the host of Fox & Friends, reportedly cautioned that targeting Democratic presumptive nominee Kamala Harris as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hire by Republicans will result in the election becoming a “identity politics race” and “tick voters off.”

The criticism is the result of several Republicans, including Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), reiterating their assertion that Harris was solely chosen due to her racial and gender identity in the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s endorsement of her.

“You can attack at all these other attacks are just unnecessary. It’s going to tick voters off. It’s going to make this an identity politics race. And if you decide to do that you’re going to lose. If you start attacking her based on being dei and all the other stuff like that. You are going to turn voters off.” Jones said.

“Look, I understand it, Biden set the stage for it saying: ‘Hey, I’m only going to select a black woman.’ You never want to make… when the GOP Is gaining ground in black America for that to be the one thing you are attacking her on… There is a lot of stuff we just laid out.” he concluded.
