House Republicans Make New Move to Impeach Kamala

On Tuesday, Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) reportedly introduced articles of impeachment against Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently running for the presidency after President Joe Biden unexpectedly ended his re-election campaign and announced his endorsement of Harris as his successor.

Olivia Beavers shared screenshots of the resolution on X, accusing Harris of “high crimes and misdemeanors” in connection with her role as “border czar” during the migrant crisis and for allegedly misleading the American public regarding Biden’s physical and cognitive health.

Biden, who is 81 years old, withdrew from the race over the weekend.

After a stumbling debate performance late last month raised concerns about his electability and mental acuity, allies had been pressuring him to resign.

Harris was promptly endorsed by Biden for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.

Harris has secured the endorsement of an adequate number of delegates to secure the nomination; however, the process is still ongoing, and an additional challenger may arise prior to the commencement of the voting process.

Harris’ campaign achieved a substantial fundraising haul within the initial 24 hours and is currently in search of a running companion.

On Tuesday, Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), the third-ranking House Republican, introduced a resolution that, if enacted, would result in the GOP-led House condemning Harris for her failure to address the migrant crisis in her capacity as the “border czar” of the Biden administration.
