Lawrence O’Donnell, a pundit for MSNBC, reportedly criticizes the manner in which several media entities, including his own, covered former President Trump’s press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday.
“It was 2016 all over again today. Donald Trump spoke for an hour at his home, and all of the cable news networks, including this one, carried it live just like they all did in 2016.” O’Donnell said during a recent episode.
The political analyst and host, who is known for his frequent criticism of Trump and his allies, criticized major news outlets for only fact-checking the former president after it was “way too late.”
“Every network has the capacity to run a live scroll at the side of the screen fact checking many of Trump’s lies,” he screeched.
A number of prominent presenters on the infamously liberal MSNBC are known for making incessant attacks on Trump and his supporters.
