Former President Donald Trump’s campaign office in Virginia was reportedly broken into on Sunday, law authorities said Monday.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s headquarters (LCSO) stated that they were seeking for a suspect wanted for burglary at the Trump for President 2024 campaign headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia.
The Trump campaign is currently leasing the office that serves as the headquarters for the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.
“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into. We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.” Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman announced.
Ashburn is located around 30 miles northwest of Washington, D.C.
On August 11, about 9:00 p.m. local time, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary report.
According to CCTV footage, the suspect is a white adult male who entered the premises wearing a dark hat and carrying a rucksack.
The inquiry is ongoing, and it is unknown whether any items were stolen from the office.
