Elise Stefanik Blasts Kamala as ‘Unfit to Serve’ as America’s Commander-in-Chief

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY) stated on Sunday that Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee, is not suitable for the role of commander in chief.

During an interview on “Sunday Morning Futures,” guest host Sean Duffy questioned Stefanik about her thoughts on Harris’ ability to ensure the safety of American citizens abroad, particularly in light of the tragic incident where six hostages, including 23-year-old American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, were discovered deceased in Gaza.

Stefanik mentioned the tragic event of the Kabul airport bombing, which claimed the lives of 13 U.S. service members during the Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021.

She also highlighted the concerns raised by Gold Star families who criticized Harris for her comments about a recent alleged incident at Arlington National Cemetery involving GOP presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump.

“Well, first of all, my heart and the American people’s heart goes out to all of the families of hostages, particularly Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s parents, who I have had the opportunity to meet with. I have met with many of the hostage families,” Stefanik stated.

“This happened on [President] Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ watch. This is a Biden-Harris administration that has turned their back on supporting Israel. We need to show strong support with Israel. There should be no daylight and using all of our efforts to bring home all these hostages,” she continued.

“What did we see from Kamala Harris and Joe Biden? That they withheld critical military aid at a very important time. It is a disgrace. And you asked the question, Sean, is she fit to protect our national security interests and American citizens around the world? The answer is an overwhelming no,” Stefanik concluded.
