On Thursday, America First Legal filed a lawsuit against all 15 counties in Arizona for neglecting to remove illegal immigrants from the state’s voter rolls.
America First Legal, a conservative legal organization known for a focus on immigration, initially informed the counties in July that it would pursue legal action if they failed to remove illegal immigrants from the voter records.
However, the organization has since stated that the counties have failed to fulfill their obligation to protect the election.
The organization initially initiated a lawsuit against Maricopa County on behalf of the Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona and Yvonne Cahill, a voter and American citizen.
However, the case has since been broadened to encompass all counties in the state.
The lawsuit is being filed in response to Virginia and Texas’ efforts to eliminate ineligible voters, including illegal immigrants, from their respective voter registers.
The decision is also made in response to the growing apprehension that widespread illegal immigration could be employed to alter the balance of political power in the United States.
Elon Musk has accused the Democratic Party of exploiting illegal immigration to expand their political influence, including the inclusion of illegal immigrants in the Congressional district apportionment process.
