A Democrat operative has now been caught on video attempting to remove an election ballot drop box from the wall in Montana.
As reported by Montana Talks, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) has compensated the operative, Laszlo Gendler, according to OpenSecrets.org. The DSCC is making an effort to assist the incumbent Democrat Senator Jon Tester in his campaign against the Republican senatorial candidate Tim Sheehy.
When reached for comment Communications Director for Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen, told Montana Talks that:
“The Glacier County election administrator contacted our office expressing serious concern over surveillance footage that appeared to show an individual ‘tampering’ with a ballot box. Our Elections Director contacted the election administrator, who confirmed that the individual in the footage is Laszlo Gendler. The name of the suspect and details were turned over to Glacier County law enforcement. Our Elections Director was pleased that the individual was not able to remove the ballot box from the wall, although the activity was obviously highly suspicious and concerning.”
The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) has compensated Gendler as recently as this year.
The DSCC is a branch of the Democratic Party that is dedicated to assisting Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) in his re-election campaign against Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy (R-MT).
