CNN’s Harry Enten Says Trump Could Win Popular Vote

On Friday, CNN’s Harry Enten said Trump “could make history” and win the popular vote based on new metrics he is seeing.

Noting that the national polls are on a “knife’s edge,” showing Trump much closer than the last two elections.

Mediaite Reports:

“Everyone has been talking about this idea that Trump may win in the electoral college, but Kamala Harris may win the popular vote, but Trump may finally get his great white whale,” Enten told anchor John Berman before pointing out that some recent surveys show Trump with a small lead.

“Donald Trump is very much in a position he could win the popular vote, which of course is something he would absolutely love to do,” he said.

Enten went on to note that no Republican presidential candidate has won the popular vote since George W. Bush in 2004, and before that, his father George H.W. Bush was the last to do it in 1988.

The news comes as another left-leaning media network is admitting things are going from bad to worse for Kamala.

MSNBC is pointing out that Kamala’s numbers are cratering.

The Daily Caller reports:

MSNBC national political correspondent Steve Kornacki said Vice President Kamala Harris’ popularity has drastically taken a downturn in just a matter of weeks before the election.

A current CNBC poll found Trump claiming the national lead against Harris 48% to 46% in October after he had been trailing the vice president in previous months, Kornacki said on “Chris Jansing Reports.” Harris’ lead has waded at the same time as her positivity ratings have dropped since September, as her negative rating is currently ten points higher than her positive rating.

“I think the bigger picture story, this suggests as well in our NBC poll, it asks about the basic perception of the two candidates here. Do you have a positive or negative feeling toward Trump, toward Harris and you can see right here, neither one of them has a greater positive than negative. They’re both not that popular. But Trump, you can see the gap here, 42% positive, he is 6 points underwater on this question. Harris, 39% positive, 49% negative, she’s ten points negative on this question.”

During the month of October Harris has been on a media blitz with favorable networks. Around that same time she witnessed her popularity plummet.
