Representative Brandon Gill, a Republican from Texas, is reportedly currently disseminating a petition that he is asking his constituents to sign in order to deport Representative Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota.
The argument that Omar is more devoted to undocumented immigrants in the United States from her native Somalia than she is to the United States of America was one of the reasons that Gil had previously asked for Omar to be deported.
“Friend, we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country. And frankly, America would be a much better place if she were to be sent back to Somalia,” Gill wrote in a new email.
“Recently, it came out that Ilhan Omar is hosting free workshops for Somalians, who are in our country illegally, on how to evade ICE and deportation. It could not be more blatant: Ilhan Omar is more loyal to illegal Somalians than she is to the United States, or the office she was elected to,” he added.
In the same manner as in the past, he also blasted Omar for outlining ways for illegal migrants to avoid being caught by authorities of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Having fled her own country owing to the civil war, Omar eventually became a citizen of the United States in the year 2000.
As a result of her unrelenting and dishonest attacks on President Trump during his first term, the congressman from Minnesota has been the focus of vitriol from Republicans.
Unsurprisingly, there were a number of Democrats who voiced their disapproval of the most recent statements made by Gil, who is a freshman member of Congress.
