In a new interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, former President Donald Trump revealed the one characteristic he admires about President Joe Biden: his ability to relax and take naps while at the beach.
Notably, Trump, who is known for his criticism of Biden, humorously acknowledged that he could never achieve such ease himself.
During the interview, which aired on “The Ingraham Angle,” Ingraham inquired about how Trump manages on minimal sleep. Trump responded with a jab at Biden, referring to him as “Sleepy Joe” and saying, “The only thing I admired about sleepy Joe Biden is the following: He’d go to a beach, lay down on a cot… and within minutes he’s sleeping.”
He expressed disbelief at Biden’s ability to sleep so effortlessly, stating, “I could never do that.”
Trump’s comments are particularly striking given the Republican National Committee’s previous efforts to portray Biden as incompetent, fueled by photos of him vacationing during his presidency.

Regardless of his critique, Trump noted that many successful people, including himself, often function on little sleep.
He highlighted that it’s been “okay” for him so far, implying a common trait shared among high achievers.
This isn’t the first time Trump has mocked Biden’s beach moments; he has referenced them before, particularly during the buildup to the 2024 presidential election when Biden faced scrutiny for his downtime.
Overall, Trump’s statement offers a rare glimpse of admiration amid his ongoing rivalry with the current president.
