Joe Rogan Refuses to go to UFC Event in Canada Because of Tyrannical Government

Joe Rogan has now reportedly announced that he will not be attending UFC 315, which is scheduled to take place in Montreal, Canada, citing his discontent with the Canadian government.

In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, he stated, “I won’t be there. I don’t go to Canada anymore,” adding humorously, “I’d rather go to Russia.”

Rogan, a prominent commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and host of a popular podcast, has voiced criticism towards Canada’s government in the past.

He described the government as “terrible” while simultaneously praising the Canadian people as “awesome.”

His comments came in response to discussions about former President Donald Trump’s playful suggestion that Canada could become the 51st state of the U.S., which Rogan dismissed as unlikely.

He recounted a conversation he had with Trump, who mentioned calling then-Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “Governor Trudeau” for fun, suggesting an amusing perspective on the political relationship between the two countries.

On a previous episode, Rogan criticized Trudeau for leading Canada towards what he termed “legitimate communism,” particularly in the context of the government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rogan emphasized that Canada’s situation highlights potential risks related to governance, stating, “It’s on the same patch of land as us.

It just shows you what could happen here if you have the right laws because people like that [Trudeau].”

His outspoken views on politics and governance reflect a broader trend among public figures who are increasingly vocal about their political beliefs, particularly in light of global issues.

Rogan’s decision to boycott the UFC event has spurred discussions around political dissatisfaction and national identity.
