Rubio Speaks Out After Pro-Palestinian Student Deported

During a press conference in Georgetown, Guyana, Secretary of State Marco Rubio reportedly addressed the recent deportation of a Turkish visa student who was arrested by U.S. immigration authorities.

The incident gained widespread attention after it was captured on surveillance footage. Rubio confirmed that the student’s F1 visa had been revoked, following allegations that she engaged in activities supporting Hamas.

Rubio made his stance clear, stating, “If you apply for a visa to enter the United States as a student and indicate your intention to participate in disruptive activities, we will not grant you that visa.”

He emphasized that those who obtain visas under false pretenses and later violate the terms of their stay would face consequences, including visa revocation and deportation.

The Secretary pointed out the importance of maintaining order and stability in educational institutions, labeling it “crazy” and “stupid” for any country to allow individuals who cause disturbances to enter their universities.

He stated, “Every country in the world has a right to decide who can visit,” stressing that the U.S. would act decisively against anyone endangering the safety and integrity of its campuses.

Rubio likened the situation to being invited into someone’s home and then creating chaos. “If I come to your house and start vandalizing it, I bet you will kick me out,” he remarked. “We’re going to do the same if you come into the United States and create a ruckus.”

He concluded by encouraging other nations to adopt similar policies regarding visa issuance to ensure that students contribute positively to their host countries rather than disrupt them.
