Karoline Leavitt Warns Iran Will Have ‘Hell to Pay’ if it Doesn’t Give Up Its Nuclear Program

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reportedly issued a stern warning to Iran, stating there will be “all hell to pay” if the country fails to comply with President Donald Trump’s demands during upcoming nuclear negotiations set to start on Saturday.

In a press briefing, Leavitt addressed questions regarding Iran’s preference for indirect talks instead of direct face-to-face discussions.

Leavitt emphasized that Trump favors direct negotiations, asserting that his primary objective is to ensure Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.

Should Iran reject this demand, she indicated that “all options are on the table,” stressing the seriousness of the situation. She remarked, “Iran has a choice to make: agree to President Trump’s demands or face dire consequences.”

The planned negotiations will involve Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, who is set to meet either directly or indirectly with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Oman.

While Iranian officials have stated they prefer indirect discussions, Trump’s team is inclined to avoid third-party mediation.

Leavitt also highlighted that Trump’s administration is ready to take military action if necessary.

A recent meeting at the White House saw Trump remark that Israel may initiate a strike against Iran should they not accede to the nuclear demands, reinforcing a strong stance against any Iranian nuclear ambitions.

As the negotiations unfold, Leavitt’s comments reflect the administration’s assertive approach and heightened tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear program.

She reiterated Trump’s commitment to diplomacy while reminding Iran of the potential repercussions if they do not reach an agreement satisfactory to the U.S.

This high-stakes dialogue is critical in determining future relations between the U.S. and Iran.
