Doug Burgam Endorses Donald Trump for President

Governor Doug Burgum of North Dakota, who withdrew his candidacy for the White House in early October, has now officially given his support to former President Donald Trump on the eve of the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses.

Burgum added that there is a “180-degree change in the direction” in which President Joe Biden is steering the nation and that the United States must accordingly.

He went on to also criticize Biden’s positions on the economy, energy, and national security.

“Under President Trump, America was safe and prosperous. And tomorrow when you caucus, you have an opportunity to send a message to the nation and send a message to the world: that Donald J. Trump will make America great again,” Burgum said.

As the Iowa Republican caucuses commence on Monday, Trump maintains a significant lead over his remaining Republican opponents in the state, notwithstanding the multitude of criminal cases and ballot access challenges he has encountered.

Former United Nations Ambassador and current governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, and Texas pastor Ryan Binkley are Trump’s remaining opponents.
