Wednesday, former President Trump vehemently criticized Republican primary opponent Nikki Haley and issued the threat that any and all donors to her campaign would be permanently barred from the “MAGA camp.”
“When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp. We don’t want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!” Trump continued.
The former president’s direct threat against Haley’s supporters indicates a heightened intensity in his rhetoric, as he attempts to coerce support from every segment of the Republican Party.
Tuesday in the New Hampshire primary, Trump defeated Haley by 11 points, a substantial margin over his former United Nations ambassador but one that was closer than the lead he has held in numerous surveys over the past few months.
Tuesday, while standing in front of two former primary opponents, Trump assailed Haley in his victory speech and urged her to suspend her campaign.
Trump has amassed a substantial number of prominent endorsements in recent weeks, including those from legislators who previously deemed him unfit for office.
