The former press secretary for the White House used her MSNBC platform on Tuesday night to make fun of voters who claim to be concerned about illegal immigration.
Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid, two of her colleagues on the left-leaning cable news network, enthusiastically supported her endeavor.
Psaki participated in a panel discussion analyzing the exit polls and Super Tuesday’s primary results, and she couldn’t help but mock Virginia voters who are concerned about the chaotic situation at the southern border.
“I mean, if you look at some of these exit polls — I mean, I live in Virginia. Immigration was the number one issue —” Psaki said.
Joy Reid laughed: “Yes.”
“— Again, these could change — in Virginia,” Psaki remarked.
“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia. A very contested area.” Maddow added.
During the same broadcast co-host Joy Reid also took direct shots at American concerned about mass immigration, insinuating that they were somehow racist:
