During a fundraiser with tech entrepreneurs in San Francisco on Thursday, former President Donald Trump reportedly raised approximately $12 million.
David Sacks, a venture capitalist, and Chamath Palihapitiya, a venture capitalist, sponsored the fundraiser at their Pacific Heights residence, according to Reuters.
The renowned “All-In” podcast is co-hosted by Sacks and Palihapitiya. The cost of attendance varied from $50,000 to $500,000, contingent upon the benefits.
The occasion was attended by numerous prominent venture capitalists and crypto investors.
Donald Trump was introduced at the event by Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Sacks, who proclaimed his endorsement of Trump in a Thursday post on X.
Trump has consistently criticized Democrats for their proposed expansion of cryptocurrency regulations.
The event was held in San Francisco, a city that is known for its intense blue hue. Nancy Pelosi, the former House Speaker, is a political opponent of Trump.
Sacks stated in his endorsement message of Trump, which was posted to X, that he was supporting Trump over Biden due to a number of critical issues, such as economic policy, foreign policy, immigration, and legal parity.
