Kamala Harris Caught in Brand New Flip-Flop, This Time Over Plastic Straws

Vice President Kamala Harris rejected her previous stance on the prohibition of plastic straws on Thursday, marking yet another policy reversal.

A Harris campaign official informed Axios that the vice president had withdrawn her previous endorsement of the prohibition of plastic straws, which she had publicly declared during her 2019 Democratic presidential primary campaign.

“She doesn’t support banning plastic straws. She cast the tie-breaking vote on the most consequential legislation to combat climate change and create clean energy jobs in history, and as President, she is going to be focused on expanding on that progress.” the official stated.

“She joked even then about how crappy paper straws are and the need to come up with better eco-friendly alternatives.” they continued.

Throughout the past few months, Harris has consistently retreated from her previous policy stances, such as the construction of a border wall and fracturing.

In addition, this week, Harris once again reversed his stance on the issue of mandating electric vehicles.
