10 Democrats Move to Condemn Biden Over Disastrous Afghan Pullout

Ten Democrats and 209 Republicans reportedly voted on Wednesday to pass a House resolution that condemned the Biden-Harris Administration’s management of the botched Afghanistan withdrawal on August 26, 2021.

The resolution, which condemns the decision making and execution failures that occurred during the Afghanistan withdrawal, was ratified by the House in a 219-194 decision.

The resolution accuses 15 officials of the Biden-Harris Administration of the “failures” that enabled the Abbey Gate suicide bombing, which resulted in the deaths of 13 American servicemen.

Among other administration officials, the resolution condemns President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

In addition to the 13 American soldiers who perished, Biden’s botched withdrawal resulted in the abandonment of $7 billion worth of military equipment that has since been captured by the Taliban.

Also, approximately 170 civilians were killed.

Prior to the withdrawal, the president, as well as several White House officials, including Blinken and Psaki were reported to have taken vacations.

The Biden-Harris administration’s failings that resulted in the disastrous withdrawal were the subject of a 354-page report released by the House Foreign Affairs Committee which was released on Sept. 9.

The Biden-Harris administration was found to have neglected to comply with the Doha Agreement’s conditions, bypassed the Afghani government’s pleas, and directly lied to the American people regarding the events that occurred during the withdrawal, according to the report.
