A new poll released on Friday indicates that former President Trump is ahead of Vice President Harris by six points in the Arizona battleground.
In the Grand Canyon State, Trump maintains a 48 percent to 42 percent advantage over the vice president, according to the USA Today/Suffolk University survey. Chase Oliver, the Libertarian Party nominee, and Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, each received one percent.
Approximately five percent of the respondents were uncertain.
Approximately 47% of Latino electors in Arizona indicated that they support the vice president, while 35% indicated that they are in favor of Trump. The number of Latino-eligible voters in Arizona is approximately 1.3 million.
The economy and immigration were the top two issues among the survey respondents, with 27% and 21% respectively. These topics are considered critical in the upcoming election.
Approximately 52% of the respondents to the survey reported that their circumstances were worse than they were four years ago.
According to the USA Today/Suffolk University survey, the former president holds a four-point advantage in Maricopa County, a bellwether county, with 47 percent of the vote to Harris’s 43 percent.
Additionally, approximately eight percent of voters were undecided.
The statewide poll was conducted from September 21-24 among 500 likely voters.
It has a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points.
The survey, which was conducted over the same period, was conducted among an additional 300 prospective voters in Maricopa County, with a margin of error of 5.65 percentage points.
In a recent poll conducted by Fox News, Harris was also three points behind Trump in Arizona.
