Fox News Dominates Latest Ratings Quarter

Fox News reportedly maintained its status as the most-watched cable news network by recording its second-highest-rated third quarter in history, surpassing rivals ABC and CBS.

This achievement marked a remarkable 91 consecutive quarters at the top of the primetime ratings.

This quarter, the network achieved its highest share since early 2023, capturing 52% of the total day viewers and 53% of the primetime audience, according to Nielsen Media Research.

The channel’s audience increased by 43% in total day viewers and 93% in the 25-54 demographic during primetime.

Viewer interest in Fox News’ prime-time lineup and historic political coverage during the late-stage presidential campaign was the primary factor contributing to its dominance.

The presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris was simulcast in the third quarter, attracting a record-breaking 14.2 million viewers.

The Five maintained its status as the most popular non-primetime cable news program for 12 consecutive quarters in primetime, attracting an average of 3.5 million viewers.

In the meantime, Hannity maintained its status as the most-watched program in the 25-54 demographic, with 457,000 viewers, and Gutfeld! established itself as the most popular late-night program, with 2.8 million viewers.
