On Sunday, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) reportedly stated that former President Trump understands the significance of Pennsylvania in the 2024 presidential election, citing the state’s influence in 2016 and 2020.
Fetterman stated during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” that the Pennsylvania election will be “extremely competitive.”
“That’s why I’m spending my time in small rooms all across Pennsylvania and red counties,” he claimed.
“I’m going to be all across Pennsylvania because we’re going to fight for every last vote. And Trump understands that Pennsylvania picks the president. Our side definitely knows this, and we’ve seen that happen both in 2016 and in 2020.” Fetterman continued.
He observed that tens of thousands of individuals attended Trump’s return to Butler, Pennsylvania, in the wake of an assassination attempt in July.
Fetterman stated last month that he believed Trump has established a unique influence on Pennsylvania voters, which was further solidified following the initial attempt on his life at his rally during the summer.
With just over four weeks until Election Day, Trump and Vice President Harris are in a virtual tie in critical battleground states.
