Fox Personality Kat Timpf Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Fox News contributor Kat Timpf has now reportedly revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer just hours before giving birth to her first child.

The diagnosis, which came on February 25, 2025, confirmed she has Stage 0 breast cancer, an early-stage form of the disease with a favorable prognosis.

“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My doctors say it’s stage zero and are confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread.” she announced.

Timpf, a regular panelist on Gutfeld! and a well-known media personality, shared her experience publicly, describing the emotional whirlwind of receiving life-changing news on the same day she welcomed her son.

While the diagnosis was unexpected, she expressed gratitude that it was caught early, crediting her pregnancy for possibly leading to its discovery.

Doctors have recommended a double mastectomy as the best course of treatment. As a result, Timpf’s maternity leave will now include both caring for her newborn and undergoing medical procedures.

Despite the challenging circumstances, she has remained positive, emphasizing her determination to move forward with both motherhood and treatment.

Following her announcement, an outpouring of support came from colleagues and friends.

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld and commentator Lisa “Kennedy” Montgomery praised her strength, while Meghan McCain described her as one of the toughest people she knows.

Timpf has maintained a sense of humor throughout the ordeal, focusing on the importance of early detection and resilience.

As she prepares for treatment, she remains committed to her recovery and embracing her new role as a mother.

Her story highlights the critical role of regular health screenings and the unpredictability of life’s major moments. With a strong support system and a determined outlook, Timpf is facing her diagnosis head-on while celebrating the arrival of her son.
