A divisive figure in the Biden administration has reportedly now finally been fired after being accused of stealing women’s bags on two separate occasions.
Sam Brinton, who claims to be non-binary, has been fired by the Department of Energy after being accused of stealing bags in Las Vegas and Minneapolis.
Brinton was arrested late last week on grand larceny charges ranging from $1,200 to $5,000 for allegedly taking bags at Harry Reid International Airport.
Brinton, who has sparked outrage among Americans in his work in the federal government for dressing in drag and boasting online about his puppy role-play fetish, was accused of snatching a woman’s baggage in Minneapolis late last month.
He allegedly arrived at MSP at 4:30 p.m. on an American Airlines flight from Washington, D.C. Brinton, according to the lawsuit, flew without a checked bag, indicating that he had no intention of claiming a bag after arriving.
According to records and video surveillance, the suitcase belonged to a female traveler who arrived at MSP on a Delta trip from New Orleans.
According to the complaint, she contacted police officials on the same day Brinton allegedly took the suitcase that her bag and the contents inside — worth at roughly $2,325 — had gone missing in the baggage claim area.
According to the lawsuit, Brinton took an Uber from the airport and booked into the InterContinental St. Paul Riverfront hotel with the blue luggage.
Brinton returned to MSP two days later, on September 18, and took the same flight back to Washington, D.C.
Brinton has now been charged with crimes in both states.
He may face up to ten years in prison and a $10,000 fine in Nevada, and five years in prison and a $10,000 fine in Minnesota if convicted on the charges in question.
