According to his most current disclosure form, the wife of Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal, a vocal critic of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, reportedly made up to $1.75 million through stock sales in August.
A publicly accessible senate disclosure database states that Blumenthal made stock trades between August 14 and August 24 and released a periodic disclosure form on September 19.
According to the form, Blumenthal’s wife sold Radius Global Infrastructure stock worth up to $1.25 million and Keurig Dr. Pepper stock worth up to $500,000 each.
Cynthia Malkin, the senator’s wife, is the daughter of real estate investor Peter Malkin; they wed in 1982.
Peter L. Malkin Family 2000 LLC executed two of the stock trades, and LarryMae Partners LLC executed the third.
